Biography
Dr. Romano was born in New York City in 1949 and lived there until 1980. He attended grade school, high school, under graduate school, medical school and graduate school in New York and moved to St. Louis in 1980 to do a two-year fellowship in rheumatology. In 1982 he moved to his present residence in Wheeling, West Virginia and now practices in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a municipality across the Ohio River from Wheeling, West Virginia. He lives with his wife, Irene. They have three adult children. He is presently in full time medical practice in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Though he spends most of his time evaluating and treating patients, he makes himself available for medical/legal matters and does clinical research. He is on the consulting staff of East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry and is a member of several professional organizations. He became licensed to practice medicine in New York in 1978, in Missouri in 1980 and in Ohio and West Virginia in 1982. He presently holds an active license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
